Is Breezy Meadow Retreat just for scrapbookers and stampers?
We welcome all crafters; stampers, scrapbookers, quilters, sewers, jewelry makers, painter
etc! We also want this space to be for other ‘retreats’ such as business meetings, seminars, spiritual
retreats, or family reunions.
How much work space is provided?
Each guest will have a 6 foot table and comfortable leather task chair with lumbar support.
How many people can stay at one time?
We can accommodate 12 guests comfortably each with their own twin bed. No bunk beds! Our creative
workshop can hold up to 20 so extra guests could join you for the day.
Is this a house or a cabin?
It is a house originally built in 1880 that has been completely remodeled. Each guestroom is unique. It
was designed with you and your comforts in mind.
How many bedrooms are there?
There are five bedrooms on the 2nd level and one on the main level. Each bedroom has 2 twin beds.
Is the house air-conditioned?
Yes, the home has central air.
Do I need to bring sheets?
Each bed has fresh sheets, warm blanket, pillow and a comforter or quilt. A fluffy, soft towel and
washcloth will also be provided. You will want to bring your personal toiletries and possibly your favorite
pillow.
Is smoking permitted?
No, we are a smoke-free environment.
What is check-in and check-out time?
Check-in is 3:00pm. Check-out time is 3:00 p.m. This can be adjusted if there is no group arriving on
your scheduled departure day.
Do I have to do "crafty" stuff when I come there?
Absolutely not! This is your time! You can choose to spend it as you wish. Paint your nails, read a book,
watch movies, sleep, play games or whatever is relaxing to you.
Are you a scrapbook consultant?
No, however they love our facility! We can introduce you to many different companies if you would like.
What is a Hosted Weekend?
Our hosted weekend means that we take care of putting small groups together! We ask that you reserve
by the room. You will still receive all the benefits of being a house guest, you will just be sharing the
house with other small groups of scrapbookers!! Please email us today if you'd like to reserve your spot!
